It's a little depressing seeing all these colourless pencil drawings going up in my gallery. I've always loved colour and it's hard having "finished" pictures without it. But I know it's for the best and I will become a better artist because of it.
Alright, alright. Story behind why my scanner is SO bad:
I have a Leopard Gecko and I used to keep him up in my room. (he now currently lives in the basement with rob's turtle and my rabbit)
He has a timer on his heat lamp. I took the heat lamp off his tank to clean it out and put it on the scanner cover. I forgot to put it back on his tank. The heat lamp turned on auto-magically and melted/warped the scanner cover making it useless. So essentially I have no scanner cover which makes the scans turn out weird, no white bg/outside light doesn't stay out I guess. Soo... yea. :D
I never took my own art seriously. It was always for fun. But now, thanks to the art class I took, I'm alot more confident about my work. I want to try and go to school for graphic design or animation. But I'm still scared. Always worried about not being good enough.
